I hope your Thursday is off to a lovely start. We’ve had such a sweet week over here, the kind of week that felt like a much-needed reset.
I love traveling, bouncing between my parents’ house for slumber parties, little staycations, and party-hopping for family events. I’m a busy bee to my core and I love making the days feel special. With little ones in tow, it’s exhausting… but also sort of necessary to always be moving. Ha!
But this week was all about being home, and it felt so good. My toddler had a little camp at school, which he loved, and it gave us some nice structure. Plus, I got to soak up some one-on-one time with my littlest and fellow busy bee. I even managed to knock out some work that had piled up, which filled my cup in the best way.
Here are a few little things that made this wonderfully ordinary week feel special:
Coffee outside before the kids wake up. I don’t know if it’s the heat or a summer miracle, but my kids have been sleeping until 7:45AM lately — truly the kindest thing they’ve ever done. Ha! I’ve been taking my coffee outside and watching the sun rise.
Baking. Nothing makes me feel more like myself than baking. This week I made both banana bread and chocolate zucchini bread… and I have no notes. Just so, so good.
A cold glass of white wine by the fire. Our fire pit finally arrived (we’re obsessed!), and the afternoon rainstorms have been cooling things off just enough to turn it on at night. It’s been our favorite post-bedtime treat.
Reading again. I’ve been trying to get back into reading. When Juliet was a newborn, I tore through a book a week while nursing through the night… but since then? I’ve maybe finished one. Maybe. So I’ve been keeping my phone across the room at night and making reading a real priority again. Starting with this super cute beach read!
Cleaning out drawers. I started with my dresser and I’m slowly making progress. I’m so sentimental when it comes to baby clothes… I think I might need an intervention. But I’m working toward a goal, and that counts for something, right?
Anyway, it’s been a wonderfully mundane week — and I’ll always be grateful for that.

Birthstone Pinky Ring – I cannot stop thinking about this little pinky ring. It’s beautiful, personal, and just the right amount of sparkle. Fully obsessed.

New Shade of My Favorite Lip Balm – My all-time favorite lip balm now comes in guava and I need it immediately. I already love the other shades I have, but this one is calling my name. Also eyeing this and this too!
Amazon Wrap Skirt Cover-Up – Just grabbed this after realizing how much I loved wearing a skirt over my suit (like this Hill House one I wore a few weeks ago). Such a fun, easy add-on for beach days.
