A Dash of Delight
A mid(ish)week inbox pick-me-up from me to you, including my top seven delightful finds of the week!
Hello, friends!
Welcome to our new newsletter home on Substack! Moving here has been a long time coming, and it feels great to finally say we’ve made the leap. Many of my friends and favorite follows are already here, making it even more exciting to dive in and join the party!

Substack seems like the perfect space for this content. We put so much care into our newsletters, and I love knowing they’ll live on well after the initial send. The archive feature was a big selling point—it means you can revisit past newsletters easily and enjoy the added ability to comment and share seamlessly. It’s truly an extension of my blog and that feels wonderful.
I hope you’re comfortable here and enjoy learning the ropes along with me as I tweak and refine this space! And, as I say each week, this newsletter is my favorite thing to put together, so I hope it brings a little delight to your inbox today.
xo,
Ashley Brooke
P.S. Hope you had a very happy Halloween… we sure did! And I always love hearing from you, so feel free to drop a comment, say hello, or share this with a friend!
The Quick Seven
Ummm have you seen my new tote that I’m utterly obsessed with? It’s been a game changer. I have it fully stocked with both kid’s essentials.
This book is changing my life… truly! I’ve been getting up extra early in the morning to get a few pages in before the house wakes up. It’s been a joy! I’m reading extra slow these days, but I’ve been loving getting back into the habit.
Needing Thanksgiving outfit ideas? I have this dress (see here!) and LOVE. I actually wore the green version (see here!) last Thanksgiving.
I want *this* to be my vibe this holiday season… it was an IMMEDIATE ADD TO CART! Seriously have you ever seen anything this fun?
Too soon to talk ornaments?! I always love this selection, and I think I’m going to order these for Juliet’s little tree, and these are just beyond beautiful! Here is Laurens’ tree that I can’t wait to get it out of storage, Also, how is this video two years old!?! His baby face!
I’m sure you’ve seen this viral reel, but it makes me cry laugh every time. So spot on. Why are we like this?
I just downloaded Ina Garden’s book and I can not wait to pop a bowl of popcorn and watch the Martha Stewart documentary!
The Updates
I’ve been slowly starting to roll out home content, which feels SO good. I’ve honestly been drowning a bit the last few months and I *think* we are finally getting our footing in the home front. It’s been a. journey. We are still very much not done and are seriously lacking in the furniture department… things are NOT what they seem online! They take time, and budgeting, and TIME. So no 30-second highlight reel/reality here, ha! We are seven months in and still have boxes to unpack. But gosh am I grateful for this home. SO very grateful.
But if you are looking for some great rugs and custom window treatments, we love ours! Read more about both on the blog.
Also this post from the archive is making me smile right now.
And I’ve posted a few fun round-ups over on LTK… from what to wear for Thanksgiving to Shopbop sale picks (everything up to 40% off!). Check it all out here!
I did a full round-up of what I’ve been wearing and loving lately (see here!) that was fun to have everything in one place. But the fall yellow color-combo has really been calling my name lately… see here, here, and here! And I need you to know that the dress I wore this week comes with a matching little girl dress… my heart!
Anyways, thanks for being here, as always.
Have a happy day!
